The V/Line Speak Up Service

The V/Line Speak Up Service is an independent service run by Stopline that gives you the opportunity to report misconduct and other serious workplace issues – anonymously if you wish. The V/Line Speak Up Service is an independent service that you can contact to report suspected:

• Theft
• Fraud
• Dishonesty
• Bullying and Harassment
• Policy breaches
• Unethical behaviour or
• Workplace safety issues

The service includes:

• Dedicated hotline number, website, mail and email address for employees, contractors and other stakeholders to report suspected incidents of improper conduct.
• Expert forensic investigators taking the calls and analysing disclosures.
• Timely reporting of issues to dedicated representatives within V/Line.

Note: You must report any immediate safety risks/issues through your appropriate process; for example if there is an issue impacting the safety of the rail network you must report it to Centrol and if necessary 000, the Speak Up service can then be used if you feel the safety issues you have reported are not being adequately resolved or appropriately addressed due to ongoing behaviour of staff or due to resourcing issues.
